The back waist is elasticated (we really don't like zippers), the self belted sash can be styled like and obi and ties flatteringly in the front.
The Zia gathers at dropped yoke seam, so the waist is not bulky but the skirt has lovely flowing fullness. There are 2 pockets in the seams to stash a tissue or breath mint at that party you have to talk to everyone and their brother.
